it lowers the price a lot when u 100% a rlly good item. 100%ing is ok but it isnt really smart to do that on a decent item.
Lowering the price is one thing, but people who are placing price checks not even at 1 mil are of absolute no help to this thread. 100%ing however can just as well be a smart method on a decent item because it ignores having to spend a huge excess amount of meso to gamble for a better (or even worse) item. Also in the case of meeting certain expectations on a gamble, it's often if the item turns up short by some amount, then the "scrolling project" often collapses as a whole resulting in quite a bit of losses. Guaranteeing success rates also has its advantages I suppose
@sl3athOwl: i have a question were are you getting those numbers? that's really what my problem is with understanding your statements are you assuming that based on scroll probablity? and ethier way it still does not change that 100% suck O.o id rather have a slim chance of getted 3+ 10% then 100%ing an item even if the damage is negligilbe
At level 140 you'll have about 650 dex. 6% from your robe will give you 39 dex. Should you land 3 30%'s on your robe, you'll end up with 5 more stats than using 100%'s as well as having about 200m mesos less to spend on your other equips, due to you having to buy 10 30% scrolls.

Not to mention, you can easily maker a robe with adv power + adv dex and you'll have +5 more stats on your 100%'d robe (guaranteed) than that 30%'d robe, unless you want to risk booming a 120m clean robe. It would be way more efficient to maker a robe with adv power and dex crystals to have a 11/7 robe which can then be 100%'d to be 11/17 which gives 28 stats rather than a plain robe being scrolled with 3 successful 30/10%'s which gives 23.

TL,DR? Makering and 100%'ing a robe is a more efficient guaranteed way to make a robe. (assuming are argument is over why 100%'s are "noob&quot If we are talking about why the TS is or is not stupid for 100%'ing a 6% dex robe, then the small 4-5 (not necessarily guaranteed) stats are negligible compared to the bonus of the 6% dex, and the robe is nice.
@sl3athOwl: but what if you had both O.o 6% dex + the amount from the scrolls that would clearly be better which is what im saying o.o...
You can't read what I'm saying. I said that when you have two robes with 6% dex but one is 6/12 and the other is 6/14, the 2 dex bonus is negligible
@sl3athOwl: well i wouldnt use 60%'s O.o 30%/10%'s are ftw
It doesn't even matter. The fact is, this robe has 6% dex and missing out on 2 dex isn't relevant when you get 40 from it
@sl3athOwl: that changes nothing O.o
It's 100%'d and a nice robe. I'd much rather have that than a 6/14 60%'d robe

Half these price checks...just wow >_>

They're not entirely that spectacular....maybe 80 mil to 150 mil depending on how popular Mechanics turn out to be.

@above: And I 100% my equips all the time. What does that make me? >_>
