I disagree with this statement. You can't be hit during Assaulter.
It's an illusion, your character is always vulnerable but you just skip a certain amount of pixels so you can teleport through monsters and not get damaged
I agree with this statement. If there were no i-frames, you wouldn't be able to tele through monsters without getting hit (imagine an Assaulter without i-frames as Combat Stepping through monsters - it's not the same). xD
Nooo you're character doesnt touch the space that the monster is in, 1 second he's on one side and the next second he's on the other. There's no inbetween time and you're vulnerable on both ends of the attack.

Step1: This is the starting point, no point taking an ss of me standing there
Step2: This is an instant after starting the attack You're instantly teleported to the other side of the monster (you can tell it was an instant after the start because the mark health hasnt appeared
Step3: Next a shadow appears where the starting point was, this makes it look like you've moved over the entire space very quickly when you were there before the shadow appeared and dust covers your character so you cant see both clearly at the same time
Step4 A trail of dust is kicked up as the shadow disappears at the same time your character is revealed and the illusion is complete
Through the whole attack you can be hit from the starting point to the end, all that before the damage is shown
Not only are sahdowers masters of avoid, but of illusion also, f33333
You're thinking about it like a combat step, it's more like mages teleporting through a monster

Assulter doesnt have i-frames, it just teleports you to a different position, you can use it to avoid being hit by avoidable attacks, but you're always able to be hit during it, your character is always visible on the screen
