All you need to know about the chaos patch

on 9 December KMS twittered about an new upcoming patch.
the maplestory CHAOS patch.

in this thread I'll gather info from this new patch and post it here.
this does mean that i do [b]NOT[/b] claim this information.

[header] three parts [/header]

the update will come to KMS in three parts:

- December 16: Return of the Hero
- December 30: A Technological Age
- January 13: Daenantu (PvP)

[header] part 1, Return of the Hero [/header]

- December 16: Return of the Hero

the upcoming content in part 1 will be:

5 new abilities you can learn. One of them is Alchemy.
You can create your own potions and more through alchemy by collecting ores and herbs.

The 5 gathering skills available for players to learn are Gather Herbs, Gather Minerals, Alchemy (creating potions), Equipment Crafting and Accessory Crafting.

Mazefind dropped by S0uthPerry a few moments ago and had this to say:

"Alchemist and Blacksmith"is not a new job. i think it is only illust. 'expert skill' is a 'skill'.

JoeTang translated what Mazefind said to this:

As far as I know, there is no new job, they are just 'Profession Skills'. Once you reach level 30, every character has the opportunity to learn the new 'Profession Skills'. The 'Profession Skills' will improve in relation to your character's level. Also, you will gain access to the following effects:
-Increased Attack
-Increased Accuracy and Evade
-Increased HP
-Increased Scroll success rate
-Additional Accessory slot(s)

- December 30: A Technological Age

this will probably be part 2 of the new skills.

I'm not sure, but when i found more information about part 2 ill share it here.

Some of you may like it others may think it will ruin maple.

After all these rumors, its finally confirmed, PVP.

theres not much information about pvp yet. but in the future ill keep updating.
