I don't hack, never hacked before. I never bought a duped item or anything such.
My internet is stable because everything else works. i checked firewall, MS is not blocked.
I do not believe the game is down.
Anyone having this problem?

I had to change firewall settings from "Auto" to "Allow" and this problem was fixed for me (Norton). I had to deal with it every patch. I never found out the true cause until I got tired of reinstalling MapleStory after each patch.
Keep trying to open it, if that doesn't work then restart your computer.
People have been getting that since the beginning of time.
It's on Nexon's end most likely, they've been having a ton of stability and connectivity issues over the past few weeks.
