Choose a Pet For Me

So I talked it over with my parents and they were fine with me getting a pet. Now I want to get either a Lizard, Frog, or a mini-shark. Which one should I get? Or do you have any rather unusual pets to mention?

@Bramblestar: Yeah I go to Hamburg a lot. They are beautiful but can be sorta dangerous if you have no experience with hots. I have my license and worked with them at my lab. I really should have majored in Herpetology

@Bramblestar: Bright red leopard spotted crested gecko, bright blue tegu, blue tree monitor and I'm saving for a breeding pair of Gila Monsters which will set me back around $2500. For my reptile lab I used to work in, I was responsible for finding and buying our "hot" collection

Sadly as of now, I only have my crested collection and my male breeder tegu
@Eeveepony: Oh I buy live ones and just let my snakes catch them. It's always fun to watch them strike.
I'm not into live feeding. Plus, some of my reptiles cost $800+ and I would rather not risk their health or skin/eyes/tongue. I've seen what a mouse or rat could do to a reptile.

Get a pet rock.
At the pet store around the corner from me mice are only $5 to a dozen. UV lights usually go bad on me once every 2 months so I never really notice the cost.
Here, tiny pre-killed are $8.00 for 4 of them.
How are your snakes expensive? Mine are relatively cheap for the most part. I only spend $20 a week on average for the 5 of them.
UV lights and rodents are not cheap. It also depends on your snake species. A ball python is going to eat far less and smaller things than a rock python

If you want a really cool reptile that is cheap and easy, crested geckos. I handle mine a lot, they require no heat or UV lights (however they need temps between 65-80), I use a paper town for substrate and i mist the tanks once a night.
Reptiles can get expensive to care for. I would know, I have about 20 of them
But isn't that expensive BECAUSE you have 20 of them? 0-0

Mini sharks will die fast. Get a snake or a hedge hog.
