The only complaint I had with my Aran was the lack of a DR/weapon cancel bypassing ability; it's the only warrior without such a skill (Crash for Explorer warriors, Binding Darkness for DS, Majesty/Final Form for Kaiser). I'm okay with Combat Step; I prefer it to Slipstream/flash jump skills when it comes to dodging ohko things like Azwan/lol-fun-at-Magnus.

its fun to play as aran even it isn't funded . im nt funded from lvl 10 - 120 bt my att is still amazing , so try an aran now

I can Vouch that they are indeed enjoyable. You dont need a whole lot of funding to do better the ave damage. At lvl 200 I hit 800k critical's with a clean Partisan and only have about 30% Str on my Potentials. If you can get the hang CS Jump, mobility isn't much of an issue. They can be a bit of a pain in the finger tho. Lots of spamming the same key. Hyper's make them much better then before tho.

I don't play an Aran myself, but my best friend does, and I can tell they're very underrated.

Mobbing: 7~8/10 - 15/10 at level 150 with Combo Tempest and Combo Unlimited
Bossing: 6~7/10 - They're mediocre at worst.
Mobility: 4/10 - Combat Step was sped up quite a bit, but it doesn't compare to Flash Jump or Teleport. Nice charge moves, and it's not bad if you mastered the Combat Step jump.
Speed: 4/10 - 6/10 with Beyond Blade
Damage: 7/10 - My friend is mildly funded, and he's already near my Evan's range, who is 25 or so levels above him
Survivability: 8/10 - High Defense, Combo Drain, Combo Barrier oh my!
Support: 6/10 - Surprisingly helpful, if only Maha lasted longer. But I love Combo Barrier and how it helps with my squishyness

Overall, they're a very well rounded class, sitting somewhere on the better-than-normal to mediocre scale. I would make one, but they don't fit my tastes too well. Almost a direct contrast to my Mercedes actually.
