Games similar to Mother/Earthbound + Pixel Art

I just recently got my hands on Earthbound and Mother 3 for the first time and I really enjoyed them. Are there any similar type of games? Similar pixel art would be a plus too. There doesn't seem to be many modern setting RPGs around. They're all either fantasy or sci-fi

And while I'm at it, I think pixel art is amazing... It's so simple yet so complicated? So much nicer than that 3D stuff. Well that 3D art is still awesome though xD.
