okay i have a physics test tmrw, he gave us a study guide, and i dont know any of it!
Using Newton's laws explain what would happen to a ball in a wagon if it went
a - from at rest to accleration
b - from acceleration to at rest
c - at constant speed
d - from constant speed to acceleration

Really now, you shouldn't take Physics as a class if you can't do the basics. Read the post above yours and that explains all the basics for you, work it out from their.

Your question is too vague
however, acceleration is caused by forces. Absence of force -> inertia -> no acceleration.
