Hiya, since I got so much free time these days (Bored of Maple, PS3, etc..)
I started mass watching animes.
So basilmarket, do you have any good animes to recommend for me?
Some genres I enjoyed: School-life, harem, comedy, action, sci-fi, ecchi
(Mecha,gore, and loli are not my thing guys D

Watch Air, it's pretty awesome. Very similar to Clannad and also when you say Clannad, that means After Story as well too right? And Soul eater is epic, definitely watch that.

Hello I just finished watching an anime called Tokyo Magnitude 0.8
Its very good and is one of those sad/life anime's
If you like Clannad, Kanon, and Angel Beats I recommend you watch it.
I cried so much on the last episode I hope you watch it ^^
Also if you would like, AnoHana, its basically another sad/life anime
Both are I believe 11 episodes? They don't drag and are quite good

OT: watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Easily top 10 of the best animes out there. Another that's short, but REALLY good in my opinion, is Fooly Cooly.

I avoided Mecha-themed animes for a while.
Kinda interested in them now. Maybe Evangelion.
I personally don't like Code Geass's artwork.

Regarding your "to-watch" list, do NOT watch Amagami SS. It was possibly one of the worst animes I have ever watched... On a side note, I can't believe you have not watched Code Geass or Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Those two are simply amazing and I highly recommend you watch them both. I believe Code Geass is only 50 episodes while Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is only 27 or something so they don't drag on at all.

Shuffle and Rosario Vampire are both really good in my opinion Reading the manga for Rosario Vampire and it's really interesting (except for the fact that they upload new chapters on random times ~,~) but anime itself was great
Kanokon it's ok... I don't think it's loli, it's just that the main character is tiny and looks like a little kid.
Where's Dragon Ball? The most epic anime ever.
