Is this graphics card enough for my liking?

Should i get a gtx 650ti? i am going to play games such as shogun 2, starcraft 2, rome 2, and league of legends.
NOt really expecting settings on ultra but just want the game to run super smooth.
Or should i get a radeon 7850 for the extra dollars?
Btw i have an i3-3220 cpu with 8gbs of ram.

i3 is super good. Anyone who knows the gaming CPU performance tiers know that i7s and i5s rank in the top tier followed by the i3s, which is matched or followed by most of the AMD FX CPUs.

To call i3 trash tier means you know nothing about gaming CPU performance tiers.

If it's the GTX 650 Ti Boost (double check for clock speeds just to make sure its not the slower vanilla 650 Ti), then the HD 7850 won't beat the value of the Nvidia cards.

With the exception of Shogun 2, the i3 + GTX 650 Ti Boost is overkill for your listed games. Shogun 2 is still plenty playable, you just won't be able to smoothly crack the demanding Ultra settings.

don't listen to them, i3 will run your games fine, those are not exactly super-demanding games.
650 ti is nice, you could also get an r7 260x
