Why you shouldnt be rage-quitting

Did my research essay on video games and aggression.
Found this: http://www.rochester.edu/newscenter/frustration-in-mastering-video-games-linked-to-aggression/
It is a recent posting from Rochester University. Grand Theft Auto does little to people, it is more likely how you experience the game that makes people aggressive, like say playing a jump quest or Call of Duty.

EDIT:
I wrote my essay on Skyrim...
Link above is just a source lol.

I think that the media and mostly real life is responsible. Criminal areas give birth to a criminal generation, unless it can be resolved or moralized.
@Predetermined: Well you can't really blame people based on fps, I have friends who are drug dealers that played yu-gi-oh and crap as kids. Now that they sell ahem, they need some form of protection and carry. To me, you just never know how people are going to turn out in life. While I think that games might influence people...I think the whole media aspect of how desensitized we are, as a newer generation is altering to us as to what is 'right' and 'wrong'.

For instance Family Guy... that show is funny to most of us younger people. You show that to an older generation and the crude humour is disgusting. The violence is disgusting, the subjects that are talked about is disgusting. But to us, it's just meh it's funny who cares. You don't know who is not going to be able to distinguish in life between a show, game, movie and real life after thinking so little of something that they repeatedly see as being okay.

The world is becoming more violent and accepting of everything. Eventually maybe no lines will be drawn.
Maplestory is going to indorse animal abuse.
Good Job Nexon!
Lol I think it all comes down to the person as well. I played fps's growing up and so did a buddy of mine. In high-school, long story short, his gf dumped him. He then decided to sell Cds to make enough money to purchase a gun. Went up into her house, smashed her cousin in his head with the pistol, tied him up and made him call her. She comes home and he attempts to murder her. I'm not sure how she overpowers him but she does and runs. He goes to prison for a few years...and well now he's a much different person. Though he's still a friend of mine.

You just never really know how different people will react to similar things. I used to get into fist fights a lot when I was in hs/college, but I'd never go as far as using a gun. To each their own.
That's.... disturbing. The EXACT reason I don't play FPS games is this post. I'm not friends with people who play FPS games too.
