Paladin Expert in 4th job grants different bonuses depending on whether you have a sword (+10% max crit) or BW (+5% def ignore) equipped.
before big bang , axes and maces had lower multiplier for the lower damage range threshold and higher multiplier for the high damage, in other words they were with higher high damage and lower low damage , while swords , had lower high and higher low damage , making them with the most average and consisting damage output from all warrior (melee) weapons. Before few patches , they removed this thing and sword , axes and blunt weapons are the same
before big bang axes hit higher highs and lower lows
i think its all the same now
certain weapons are slower than others
certain jobs use certain weapons
