Auction Price Includes Tax / Scissors?

I swear it does, but I recently ran in to someone who wanted me to pay extra on top of my auction price because otherwise they'd lose money on buying the scissors for the level 10 skillbook. I was searching around for the specification on Basil that says 'tax or scissors price is included' but for the life of me I can't find it. Am I crazy?
Allright thanks, I'll keep that in mind if it ever happens. Thankfully it hasn't yet.

Also, where is the rule on things being scissored / tax included listed on basil? I can't actually find it and I'd like to be able to refer to it if I meet a confused seller.
It's been a while since I used the auctions, but if I remember correctly, it states that the tax is included in the sale price of the item when the auction ends. The item already has to be scissored and the buyer is not obligated to reimburse the cost of the scissors, but only the winning bid for the item itself.

We can turn them off. It's pretty swell.

Edit: I didn't realize sheriff's didn't get 'online' tags. Unless you log on and off very quickly.

Thanks, I didn't realize they had to be scissored to be put up for auction.

What I meant was, if I won an auction for an item for 100m, I am perfectly within my rights to complain on Basil and get negative feedback removed if the other party gets upset that I refuse to pay 100m + 150m for scissors total. Based on the responses I've gotten, in the scenario I've described they should have just started the auction at 150m + whatever profit they wanted to make.

Basil requires you to have the item scissored (if it can) to put it for an auction. So technically, yes, the price of scissors is technically included. But you're the bidder after all, so you can bid whatever you want.

An item must be scissored before you can put it up for auction -- so they won't hafta worry about cost of scissoring. YOU will.
