Programs In Calculator

Recently I've started to program AP chem equations into my calculator to save myself time on those tedious questions. However I've learned that we're not allowed to do this. I've learned how to program on the calculator on my own and am using a resource towards my advantage. Should I stop programming these equations and just doing them manually like everyone else? (this can cause errors)?

TL;DR: Continue programming equations to make my life easier? or stop right now because of the "rules"?

they've never checked calculators at any of my tests. however, the ap chem formula sheet provided on the test is sufficient.

Well on the AP exam the section that we need calculators for gives you all the equations. Questions will require obvious manipulation which I've already done in my calculator.
@Flexagraphy I just checked the calculator policy.
"the availability of stored equations, is no substitute for a thorough grasp of the chemistry involved"

@icemage11 If I'm not allowed a calculator I'll still be able to manipulate any equations and do any kind of math I need to do. I'm confident in my algebra skills. The calculator for me at least only "speeds" up the process.

I'm only doing this because my calculus teacher last year encouraged us to create programs if we knew how to do so.

@xoqtprincessxo Won't be able to recieve credit for the course even if I get a 5. I plan to major in biomed engineering and chemistry is a class that must be retaken at the college I'm going to (regardless of score). I'm only taking this course right now to get a grasp of all the material so I won't have a big deal taking the course in college.

Your call mate. Don't come here crying if you get your test scores invalidated.

Stop or you're screwed when they don't allow programmable calculators on exams.

I'd stop because you'd become too reliant on it which may become a problem in situations where you can't use your calculator.
Besides the more you practice, the less chance there is of getting it wrong.
