Demonslayer

Conflicted with Inner Ability

So as the title has stated I'm currently conflicted with my inner ability... I don't know which to keep and which to get rid of:

Legendary Ability:
18% Drop Rate
23% Skill Duration
Max HP +135

I don't know if I should get rid of the 1st and 3rd line or just reroll the 3rd line. Help D:

Im relatively sure kms green pot doesnt break the speed cap for them

Small side not but I did the math and we need about 250% buff duration to have 100% uptime on the dr ignore.

@risingvenom: the files say otherwise but if kms players are reporting it i guess it can work.

@risingvenom: Yes, green potion and dsi had identical results to green potion and swiftness rune. Also I failed to mention that | had booster on for all of the tests.

@subzero212 @star909 I've been told that people in KMS tested, and buff duration worked for their 5th job skills. So I'm not so sure about that, unless it says on OrangeMush or something that it doesn't

@oakmontowls Ooh, but did you also try with DSI + green potion, without the rune? Just since those 3 extra attacks could've been the rune's buff s:

@risingvenom: I have not tested it extensively but it appears to work when I have used it. Haven't tested it with run of swiftness though
Edit: I just tested in game and both green potion+ dsi and green potion+ swiftness rune did 55 attacks in 30 seconds where as just green potion only did 52 attacks in the 30 seconds. In conclusion dsi does work past the soft speed cap when a green potion is used.

@subzero212: it would depend on your level because every 6 levels over 200 unlocks a core slot, i'd say if you have more than 7 you can go for 5th job's DSI but you're going to have to live with a cooldown, otherwise i wouldnt. Just make a pensalir glove or something and try to get it at epic/uni so you dont have to cube as much. Also getting min/max crit on gloves are generally better.

Also no buff duration doesnt affect 5th job skills.

Then would getting DSI be worth it at all? Or just wait for 5th job to come out to get DSI? Cuz I'm sitting at 27% str on my gloves and I don't wanna recube :x Also, is it confirmed buff duration will work with Demon awakening? I know it doesn't with hyper skills like Blue blood.

@oakmontowls Ohh srs? I wish the guide would mention that
So if you have green pot and DSI then, for example a rune of swiftness, won't add any more speed? You've tested it?

@subzero212: you're at 85% clean when you have the 5th job active (it adds 60% when you activate it), you can easily hit 100% from there with extra crit sources (like literally bt link and DSE would have you covered).

@risingvenom: it doesn't break it by its self but if you use the green potion then it works.

@oakmontowls Umm I don't believe DSI can break the soft cap of fastest[2] o:
At least according to the Basil attack speed guide it doesn't

@subzero212 True about 5th job but id still reroll for buff duration. And yes with a Fafnir weapon (5) and booster we hit the soft speed cap of 2 since booster is -2 and focus fury is -1. If you want to go faster you can use a green potion and dSi to hit the hard cap of 0. So the inner ability of attack speed is useless for a ds unless you really just hate booster.

@oakmontowls But for 5th job when we get demon awakening, Demon lash becomes our main attack and its not 100% crit :o And we hit speed cap with just booster?

@subzero212: for ds? If so I wouldn't bother with the attack speed since we hit the speed cap with booster, however crit isn't really too useful on a ds since impact always crits.

I'm also conflicted with mine. I have 28% crit but I dunno if I should reroll for +1 attack speed. Thoughts?

I'd stick with working on the third line

The best that Demon Slayers can roll is %boss or buff duration since I believe it still works with the DR ignore from hyper, but you have a really good %drop line which is great for farming cubes from bosses.
