How do you get hacked?
So I just logged on back to my buccaneer to check on some stuff just to find that I got hacked.
All that's left is my zhelm, MoN and lvl 12 evolving ring.
The only sites I use that are maplestory related are basilmarket, and SW.
I don't see any way I can get keylogged...
Also it's not just me, I've had a few friends that got hacked also (all in Bera too)
I'm not upset that I got hacked because I play in another server now, but just curious as to how I got hacked.
P.S. The user IDs I use for forums are not the same as my nexon ID

No pub wifi,
I don't think I opened any suspicious e-mails, but definately read all my e-mails.
I think the possiblities are down to keyloggers on other computers I've been to
Have you ever used public WIFI?

The worst part is that my friend still played in Bera so he saw everything he had in someone else's shop
Trust me....if u got a keylogger it was from sleepywood
i had not went on any sites on my old comp except maple official site,basil,and Sleepywood (was my first time using it the night i got hacked)
i went to sleep came back my old Ranger Lev 114 was hacked and banned for something......
Sleepywood is not your friend thats why i dont use it till this day and i have not been hacked (knock on wood)

Why should he sell one, when anyone can get a leeched one of the internet? Im 99% sure your friend leeched the very same hes selling.

You have to be on for like the hacker to transfer some kind of packets or something... It was really confusing when my old guild had a discussion about it awhile back.

Yes I actually have let my friends use my computer and I also have logged into Maple using theirs.
They're no brainiacs when it comes to computers, but I guess it could be a possiblity..
