steps to install the game
well right now im in the part of downloading the game. first it downloaded a thing that said maplestory.v01 and was 1199mb, now im in maplestoryvzip and it is 800mb. i have 2 bard of download, one that says current and one below that says total. Can someone explain me pls how much instalation this requires, currently i am in the 800mb of download, i already passed the first download of 1200mb

Yes. That's the way I always do it, and it always works for me.

It sounds like you're in the middle of installing the game, not downloading it. It should only take about 15 minutes or less to completely install.
Maplestory is approximately 2.2 Gigabytes when it's installed.
