Advice for a returning plaer

General MapleStory Forum Talk about MapleStory in general

Jokertown Level 145 Galicia Luminous 4
A lot of you were very kind enough to answer my previous question upon coming back to this game. So now that it's been pointed out to me that my current server is probably less than desirable (that server being GMS Galicia), I'm deciding to move into either Scania or Broa. Problem is I've never played in either of these servers, so I'd be starting from scratch, which is probably gonna be difficult for me because a) I've always played on a server linked to my main and b) I don't know anything about MapleStory's current Market, OP Classes, Etc.

So I'm just asking if you guys could give me some tips on how to be succesful in this transition. Some key questions I have are:
- What class should my character be? Is there a certain class that every player should have as their first character in a new server?
- How do I make money? Is there any item grinding possible or should i bite the bullet and gamble away at gatcha?
- What should my main goals be relative to points in the game? Leveling up quickly or building a strong economic base?

Thank you for taking the time to read this, I appreciate any responses given

Not playing is pretty much the best advice nowadays. If you really want to forsake that advice, then at least try the game out on your own first. Sounds like you haven't even started yet.

I recommend a Demon Avenger or Mercedes. Because Demon Avenger has a healing skill and only uses hp, so there is little need for any sort of potions (I bring a few just in case) and he has an amazing link skill. And Mercedes for the link skill. Other than that, whatever playstyle you find fun.

Don't move to broa, it's a really bad world, there's barely any good people there.

1. I'd go with Zero, it's a pretty resourceful class. Your own shop (I think), and training areas.
2. Get to level 150, you can start doing Gollux. With time, you can make up to 8b+ off Gollux coin shop alone. Also do Commerci; note the prequests for these are really long, but worth it.
3. That's up to you. Play the game how you want to play, some people play for damage, others play to customize their appearance.

Feel free to add me, HEYsammi, if you decide to join Scania.

Also ignore everyone that are saying quit/leave, if you want to play, then play.Don't let others bring you down.

technically speaking, it is better to not play maplestory. you have more time to do other things irl. such as working out, working/job, going to other places irl....but that may be something that people who stay inside all the time may forget

Technically speaking, this is your opinion. Stop being passive aggressive. You're not being helpful at all.
