what would you want out of a nova thief? Basically title TLDR: read the title
50k nx for db So I'm thinking of upgrading my db and my current gear are Clean 80 maple beret 3% luk top/bottom 6% vss 26att scgs Maple cape 130 attack blood dagger Average katara 3% luk 9 dex belt 7% luk half earings So what should I be upgrading with 50knx and how much should be payed for each thing?
db vs shad with Average funds So my db (lvl 147) and shad (152) have roughly the same range of 21-23k buffed..id test this out myself to see which solos dojo faster but my shad has full empress (30% boss damage) so na.. but I was wondering which is really doing higher dps, my db has max final cut, 1 phantom blow, max expert, max sharpness and working on thorns/blade fury at the moment..my shad has bstep maxed, expert maxed, 10 in nate, 14 in sifter, nothing else worth noting..anyway the db also has 30% pdr adding from both weps, shad has 15%; so factoring in final cut (if possible when calculating dps) and the current numbers given which is doing better dps to say a crocky 1v1
who should i make into a Nl i have a 151 shad and 152 db Shad: much better hair nostalgia(so much, rip band of thieves) full empress dark angelic blessing ring worse gear DB: full CRA set bad hair more damage i have about 1.5b to spend so id have to get full cra again on shad an only have to buy the claw if i swap the DB. i dont really enjoy either of those classes any more so it just comes down to whats bette statistically and which of the two is better with little funding/unfunded also, my xenon has about 22% all stat, 18% luk, and 12% str outside of slots that would be taken up by cra items at lvl 150 so would that just be better to keep going on? with the new nl id have scrolled and enchanted cra gear and about 35% luk
A returning thief lover, looking for tips So i just returned to maple story after a 2 or 3 year break, with 2m my name, but some decent enough gear, i have a level 152 shad, and a 151 db and a few other link skill mules but these two and my aran are the only characters it seems like i put any effort to get geared, my +26 att storm caster gloves were deleted when i logged on which was quite demoralizing but i decided i could do without them since they were a luxury anyhow, while i was on my way to ToT i met a demon slayer who sold me these dimension gloves for 1.5m which looked very good to me stat wise but then he told me they were barely worth 200k and flew off with the majority of my cash. i think i have 34% luk all added up from the gear
could i solo zak with a decent time? So I'm a 145 shad, 22k range buffed, 27% pdr ignore. (Neb+lvl12 instinct), max bstep, 1 sifter, 1 smokescreen, 1 nate, max expert, and 30% boss from full empress set.. I've never killed zakum before so what is the strategy for arms/body? Any help is appreciated. Thanks :D

quality purple db mask I've gotten this 3 times from kerning gach so far, 2 times on my shad, and one on a 1 ticket run on my phantom, I'm not complainin, its better than the majority of what I could get but has anyone else been getting these often?
Hayato, Shad, Or Db So after nexon deleting my 26 att scgs my only characters that are unnafected are my shad (full empress) and my hayato (tempest set) I currently only have about 3m mesos so these are most likely the equipment ill be sticking with for a long time. I enjoy both characters but which is worth continuing? My shad also has an assortment of untradeable goodies like dabr, smiling mask, the mechanic hair, and perm trans hat. It would be a shame to leave it all to rot and I also enjoy my hayato quite a bit (lvl 105 currently). Who is more rewarding and seeked after in boss runs? Who *currently* does more dps and who will after unlimited? Oh and a third option, attempt to merch to find new gloves for my db
Who got the better hyperskills? Dbs: Shads: Night Lords: the shad was rather unlucky :~( but dbs solo'd the boss the fastest , shads was roughly 30 seconds of attacking withou wep cancel and nightlords had 21 seconds-ish so who do you guys think got the better end of hyperskills here? imo i love em all
p/c on some thief gear VSS: epic, 3 lines 6% luk +4% all stat nebulite Sharp blue buckle belt, 3 line rare 3% luk + 4% all stat nebulite Blood dagger + 129 att 21 luk 15% pdr neb half earrings: 2 line rare 6% luk, 1% luk neb purple giles cape : 3% luk, 3 lines rare 1 % luk neb i know its not amazing, it was decent a few years ago but i guess not anymore, i have a db and a shad level 150 or so each, what gear should i be going after , i have about 200k mesos wondering if its worth selling all my luk gear and refunding a str character like aran or kaiser or not
stats to beat the current katara My current katara is 65 att renegades meteor katara 2 lined 6% luk +10 luk..it will be 68 att later..anyway what stats should I look for on my next katara to beat this one? (It also has 15% pdr neb on it)
