Hows the Wii U? Nintendo general discussion

For everyone who got it today, how is it? I personally haven't bought it yet but I plan to buy it in the future.

@ImaClubYou You think $60 is expensive for a game? That's pretty normal especially for new-released games.

Too much for Nintendo.

What are you talking about? The Wii U has better graphics capabilities than ps3 and 360.

And regardless, graphics are not what make a game good.

@Darklerty Technology has to move on eventually.

@Dear They did.. it's called Nintendoland.

i'm just kinda waiting for a potential price drop, or more big releases (since all i really want so far is Nintendoland...)
totally confident in the system though, i don't think it'll fare too badly this gen. graphics may seem low-end compared to the hypothetical 720 and PS4 but i don't think they'll have a huge jump in quality as much as they'll try innovation (like Nintendo) and just tuning up the systems to run really well. i mean esp. Sony can't afford to release some crazy powerhouse system that's "overpriced" again and lose money until the first/second redesigns.
@malapo: Yes, It's slightly better then the Xbox and PS3 right now. Next year Xbox 720 will be coming out. I like to see the difference there.

@ImaClubYou Well Not having a Hard Drive means you won't be able to Download some games on. This time around, they are still relying on flash memory and SD cards, although at least internal memory has gone to a choice of 8 or 32 GB from the half GB in the Wii.
Games can be downloaded via internet. The new xBox will be called XBox 8 due to Xbox and Microsoft(Windows 8) coinciding.

I want to buy it. But if they do a Majoras Mask remake, the instance I hear about it being on the shelves I am storming Best Buy or w/e sells it and throwing my money in their face and taking the Wii U and the game
@ImaClubYou: Me too. I think if they were $40 a lot more people would think about actually buying it now.
They're loosing a lot of money by selling the hardware for so cheap. They have to make it up through the games.

Not digging the fact that you can't use gamecube controllers for the next SSB.

What do you even mean by "low graphics card"? I don't even? I also dunno where you're getting this info about...wait what? Memory shortage? I'm confused as hell here.
I, Reggie Fils-Aime, am sorry that you have found our product so dis-satisfactory.
The Wii U is in HD so it's all good. I think I'll get it once the price drops. I don't want to spend $300 on the system and then like $120 for two games.
Disappointed in them making games 60$ to be honest.

Graphics are more powerful than PS3 AND xBox360 combined. Memory isn't a problem unless you plan to play 100+ different games.
