Will Pvp still be laggy?

I remember like when PVP first came out, it was SOO laggy, and your attacks would be delayed
like crazy, even if you had really good internet.

Do you think they'll fix it this time so we can actually play pvp? o_o

Btw, I'm selling a crimson arcglaive (150att, epic pot with 30%pdr and 3%str) Pm me.

@EllieSeyYo: You have to admit that there was A LOT more strategy/skill involved in PvP than in, say, bossing.
And I wasn't necessarily comparing our two classes in general, just making a note about how OP classes could be beaten (and true OP classes would be the Legends, IMO).

And while those aforementioned "OP" classes DID have an advantage in PvP, it was much less of an advantage than outside. This is where the skill aspect that I relished came in. It was because that they had an advantage that it took skill and good control to beat them.

Oh, and while I can't speak for Wild Hunters, you couldn't just spam skills and jump around. That would get you killed quickly. It was precisely because the cooldowns that strategic attacking had to be employed. With my Shad, you couldn't just jump and spam BStep. Without skillful control of those jumps and attack placement, you would be torn to shreds.

Oh, and a HUGE part of a Shad's arsenal was Smokescreen. Again, you had to use your judgement to determine when to lay down smoke. And when you got it right, and the kills stacked up, it was hugely satisfying <3
I don't think it was lag. I think it was probably because there were actually cooldowns on the attacks.

But maybe that's just me. :o

Anyways, I won't really expect the new Grand Battle to be anything different from the old Battle Square...

Just a lot of OP classes ruling out each other...

If not that, then just a lot of funded people murdering everyone... o.o
Not necessarily. PvP brought something rare into the game: skill.

Your equips didn't matter too much (unless you were super competitive and had to have Agares) and you couldn't just throw funding at it to win.
In fact, my semi-funded Shad (before the revamp when they were the underdogs) managed to perform quite well.
Plus, I managed to beat out a good amount of funded people as well.
In PvP, character control > funding.

That's one of the reasons I loved it so much. It was a chance to prove how much skill you had rather than how much money you had.
Plus, it was fun to be able to kill my friends and be killed by them. The jocular trashtalking was a great part of the experience.

I'm not too sure what to expect of this new PvP. By bringing potentials into play, I certainly think that funding will play a bigger role in PvP.
However, I'm still hoping that PvP won't turn into another funding contest.

All I can say for sure is, I'm looking forward to playing PvP again. I just hope it's not going to disappoint...

Why does this oddly like America.
Literally, first thing I thought of.

Pvp didn't have that much lag. When it came out for the first time it did, I assumed it was because a lot of people were on.
But a few months later, it ran perfectly. The only "lag" is from the delay between your skills. They have small cool downs.

It was perfect. I hope they didn't changed it too much.

You can't fix lag. You can only whine about it.

I'm more worried how they fixed it.
If it's just like how it was when it was released, it's perfect.

Seriously, when they 'fixed' it in the Age of Triumph, it ruined it forever.
