Because that chart has been posted more than 4 times already under an impression that its an accurate ranking that's set in stone. Threads citing the chart shouldn't be utiolizing it in the first place.

It's just 100% ideal conditions, a boss that doesn't move, deal any damage, cause status effects or anything. All because that is too hard to count for.

@Hiraku: I've done everything there except PB, empress, and magnus(only cause it's new and I've been busy with Lumi and AB). My range is terrible for my level and yes I'm unwashed.

Why is everyone complaining about speed (2)? The chart is obviously a compilation of all his calculations into a single thread and ranked. If you want to see the other speeds, then view the individual threads.

No Chaos Zakum, Horntail, Chaos Horntail, Pink Bean, Empress, Magnus, Hilla, Hall of Honor, Drill Hall, etcetc.

What can't you do with low damage? I'm unfunded at level 18x and the only things I haven't been able to do are PB and Empress. (Not like I've actively tried to get a party). Since no one notes everyone's individual damage, low damage ends up making no difference since so many people are damage wh0res anyway nowadays.

The only hero classes that I don't play is Aran + Evan simply because they don't appeal to me (Getting an Evan to 70 before their speed up in attacking was...a bit traumatizing).
The rest I play for fun.

This post is more or less not about damage. I'm not picking on any class. Instead I'm thinking, "Wow, the 4 original heroes who sealed the Black Mage (one of whom is dead because reasons) are at the bottom of theoretical damage charts! How ironic!" If I said all 5 heroes, it wouldn't make sense, because Evan is not low tier on that list, or even anywhere near the other heroes. It's literally, all 4 original heroes and DrKs and the bottom.

Dude, i am a phantom and i am anything but weak I kicked a$$ in pvp. (No I did not use dark sight) and Mercedes was THE BEST bossing class. Luminous is THE BEST mobbing class, even better than BaM. So what if they do a little less damage, they got other stuff to make up for that

Because their hyper triples their attack count while lowering damage, but I think they have a buff that makes up for that. Also for lolrainbownyancatcannon.
Edit: Also, CS has the 2nd most hits per second in the game after all hypers in KMS.

"Damage this damage that," really guys to me I focus more on how the class on a whole can be used utility-wise. Some classes have a specific role they can play as long as you know what that role is. If you really have fun with the class then stick to it. Eventually if you put some effort to your class, then maybe someday it can be OP in your eyes.

On a side note, how come Cannoneers are that high in charts?

@Hiraku: Why would I play a class that I do not like? I enjoy playing Phantoms because I like their style, and yes damage is somewhat fun to have, but let's say Angelic Buster for example, I find the class very boring.

@Haitienne: Still... it doesn't make sense. Without outside bonuses, fastest(2) is not achievable for most classes. Especially Angelic Busters... god they attack so slow...

Fun is damage, damage so you can solo bosses and help friends. Damage is the game. The correct term would be a competition for the highest range, or competitive ranges.

You can't have fun not being able to kill anything yourself, and there's no point chatting as Skype is the better alternative.

dont blame JT, he said it was fastest(2) for everyone, blame people who think damage charts = absolute truth
People forget how passive skills like guard/avoid/status resist/dodge increase your damage by [b]a lot[/b]

There is nothing ironic about that at all. Just because it's called "Hero" doesn't necessarily mean its the strongest.

I don't understand why JT did this... given his reputation, but the "hero" classes (excluding the Novans) are definitely not the best class out there in terms of damage% on their skills.
