Constant Disconnections and Crashes in Maple
Today I've been experiencing some disconnections and crashes on Maple Story. I didn't have this problem at all yesterday or the past week. When I tried to log in today on any of my characters, I would immediately disconnect within 10~40 seconds on my character. It would also give a message saying that "You have been disconnected from the log in server". Sometimes I even disconnect before I reach the character selection menu or before the game even loads.
I haven't downloaded or installed anything prior to launching Maple Story today. The last time I was on maple was 2/18/2013 @ 6:30 pm EST and I started to experience this today at 6:00 am EST.
It has given me several responding errors from Hack Shield, Fire Wall or Server Check etc. But the main error I get most of the time is "You have been disconnected from the log in server"
I do not use 3rd party programs or anything to enhance my play in Maple Story.
Several things that I have tried :
Restarting my computer
Virus, Registry and some other basic scans
Closing all programs while attempting to run MapleStory
Restarted my wireless connection
Tested my internet connection speed and found no issues
Also, I've noticed this week that when I play HD videos on YouTube, I disconnect from maple when it is running.
I hope this gets solved soon.

ayobakare you are pretty lucky to only be experiencing this now Ive had this hassel for more than a month, check the maple site forum and you'll see how long this issue has been going on for some days are better than others my problems started sometime in Jan and I've tried every thing from re-installing to re-down loading even updating every driver on my machine. I've switched off my firewall checked my line speed to no avail its not our machines how can it be hundreds if not thousands of machines at fault. The thing that ticks me off is that somewhere in Jan Nexon said there was a problem but since then they have be silent and have buried their heads in the proverbial sand to avoid the problem. At one stage I would have been happy with a bit of an update but this has now become madness someday I can do red leaf no prob and others it boots me out saying you have been disconnected from log in server please try again.

Not really sure what's going on, but I do know that streaming HD videos take up a lot of bandwidth, almost 80% ~ 90%. This can cause Maple to run very sluggishly, choppy and of course, lag. Lag is the main cause of disconnections. Would this be the problem?

That's a possible reason, but it still doesn't explain the disconnections. Could it be that my network is bad or is this issue on Nexon's side?
