Stop complaining about DPM

When every single classes' DPS has improved by so much. If you compare Dusk's DPS chart back in July 2010 to the newest one, you will probably notice one thing: every single classes DPS has more than tripled. And this is all at level 200 mind you.

To put this into perspective, a Bishop does more DPS now than an Corsair did back in 2010. 1/4th more DPS actually. No really, download the charts:

It's only been 6 months, and there have been 3 new classes, and a huge increase in damage for all classes. Here are some of the highlights:
Corsairs DPS has increased from 298,715 to 1,351,752 (4 times more)
Wild Hunters overtake Bowmasters as the Bowman with highest DPM
Archmages no longer suck (I/Ls have better DPM than Heroes)
Arans have fallen from 1st place DPS with max combos to one of the worst
If a corsair summoned a octopus and sent it back in time to pre big bang, it would KS the living hell out of every other class
DPS is much more balanced (not counting Wild Hunters and Corsairs)

There's tons more changes that I was to lazy to point out. The one thing that hasn't changed is that DPM is still pretty useless as to determining how good a class is.

Stay tuned for the next update featuring Mechanic DPM (probably still worse than corsairs). If someone takes a screenshot of those charts, I will give you a cookie.

EDIT:These are DPS charts, not DPM (my mistake). I was wondering why they were kind of low. So just multiply them by 60 to get the DPM. Ex. Corsairs have 81,105,120 DPM.

EDIT 2: Fixed URLs (just change the 3 to an e). Also added screenshots.

I thought pickpocket makes mesos drop on the floor. But I am aware the chart is not 100% accurate.
The default setting has Dark Knights using a 107 attack slow-7 speed spear, while arans are using a 102 attack normal-6 pole arm (arcglaive?). Dark Knights could also use the arcglaive to maximize dpm. Also, a Dark Knight has dragon's blood which is +25 attack while the potion attack is +20. A dpm chart will never be 100% accurate, people will always end up making mistakes like these, and in the end, it will all depend on funding.
That's what I said in the first post, DPM is irrelevant. These are all theoretical. You can customize the chart if you want, ya know.

I didn't make this (I have a life-kinda). Check the other tabs, I think they include Snipe and stuff.
this chart is so inaccurate, arans below DKs? I understand that Arans were not really buffed at BB and are gonna get buffed at chaos patch but they STILL have higher DPM than most other classes. Was it calculated with slow speed polearm or something? lol
On default setting it's with a normal speed Polearm. Have you actually done the calculations yourself or are you just assuming that Arans are stronger than DrKs? I'm guessing the latter. Arans just aren't as good relative to other classes as they used to be.
You need mesos to blow up, thats why you cant ME all the time.
+ NLs arent at the bottom they are somewhere around the middle.
which is fine with me, the better your funding the higher your dps anyways.
can't they just carry tons of mesos? You only need 10 now for max damage, am I correct? And they can use pickpocket.

I posted up screenshots for you people who don't trust me/are too lazy to download.

@ceiling:

DPM = DPS x 60

Multiply DPS by 60 and you got your DPM :l
The newest chart has 30% boss, potential, and higher crit rate. The older one had no potential items.
So that makes everyone 3-4x more powerful (even octopus).

@above: No they don't. That guy didn't click on the Analysis tab on the bottom. That's the real DPM. ANALYSIS TAB!

^DPM =/= DPS x60. A minute is 60 seconds, yes, but it's more complicated than that. Not all classes can attack under the exact same conditions all the time, and attack delays will skew everything.

OT: Does the chart take Amp and Infinity into account for Mages? It doesn't seem to. The whole chart doesn't seem correct to me.
We have the same problem. Octopus becomes pretty important with higher def so it's a pain to maintain our summons too.
I know but I personally haven't had any problems..I just got into the habit I guess. Luckily we don't have to dismount for that..
I'm assuming I won't have any problems remembering to switch to siege mode on my Mech because of this, but who knows.

Wild Hunters passing Bowmasters....
Darnit, Nexon.
Well Archmages CL is amazing so I cant complain about DPM. (that much)
But we're still one of the lowest DPM classes.
From what I know of calculations, Corsairs are still ahead of Mechanics..but since Siege has a cooldown, there's no telling how many Mechs will just plain not be watching closely enough to time Siege right, and fall behind in DPM anyways.
@tiger321-Shadower's DPM has gone from 152,516 to 496,235 (1,212,603 with Meso Explosion). Sadly, they are still near the bottom of the chart, along with Buccaneers, Evans, and Night Lords (don't flame me for this, I'm just pulling info out of the chart).

@staytru-I can't fit the entire chart on my screen, so could some one with a higher resolution screen do that?

Anyone know why Shads can't use ME all the time?

Take a screencap of the DPM list and post it in an imagehosting site, please. I'm not downloading anything from lolbasil.
