Do any of you OG Buccs remember when Transformation was Bugged and you could move while attacking and the animations looked like you were actually fighting while moving/running? I really hope they make that a possibility for 5th job.

I think I've only had this happen to me once or twice, but I never really tried it and I wasn't sure if it was because of my own lag or not... frankly, I'm not sure if it was a thing either. That was a pretty long time ago.

I was more annoyed about the plethora of glitches that hurt our functionality(Transform having its attack buff dispelled, for example) that Nexon kept 'fixing'. Granted, the glitch I'm most annoyed they didn't keep was the ability for you to sit on air; if you were transformed and sat on the VIP Alien Chair(Maybe there were others), it would just have you sitting in the normal position, but without a chair. You could then remove Transformation and be sitting without having a chair at all; it was such a neat glitch, but they kind of removed it at one point(Whether it was via Transformation becoming a mount or via fixing the bugged animations, I can't remember). I'm annoyed that one is gone; it was so silly, but unique and one of the few glitches that didn't completely gimp us.

Yeah that along with "Dragon Dancing" were among the top reasons that made this class so epic IMO.

@lycanthropods I don't think I ever experienced that. I was a Marauder for a good long while, since I refused to leech, and it looks like it's a Demolition/Barrage exclusive glitch. It looks like it only works with the skills that locked your character position(Barrage/Demolition)... really weird, honestly.

I don't think it'd be a great idea for 5th job, if only because there's a LOT of things that MapleStory needs more than a 5th job right now... but I'd rather see 'classic' Buccaneer play-styles make a return for 5th job. Slow, heavy bruisers with a focus on control, invincibility frames and a plethora of moves for various situations; Nexon really made the class a lot easier and more watered down, and that's my gripe with it. They made skills useful by giving them attached buffs(Power Unity, Nautilus Strike...), rather than making it so we want to keep a lot of skills on our keyboard because they were useful in different situations(And were thus more efficient than, say, Buccaneer Blast spam).

Frankly, I'd rather Nexon start making better decisions regarding the game as a whole, rather than adding another job. Fourth job was really hyped when it came up because it added a lot of DIFFERENT things to each class; Paladins got some 'simple' upgrades(Holy Charge, for example), but they also got some neat things that were pretty unique(Guardian, for example, and the Warrior-wide Rush was actually a HUGE deal at the time). Shadowers got the Thief shared Shadow Shifted for more evasion, but Boomerang Step was a pretty big deal because of its invincibility frames, and Assassinate actually gave Dark Sight an offensive use(AND meant good Shadowers could 'prep' damage during Physical Null phases of bosses). Basically, the point is that 4th job classes expanded on what the class was good at, and gave them more unique skills that were fitting; classes have become so homogenized at this point that a 5th job is kind of pointless, and Nexon should focus on fixing the issues that are currently in the game, rather than giving band-aid 'future' fixes that might not even fix things at this point.
