Can I Perfect My Weapon?
I have 118 Clean Slate Scrolls (10% chance no boom) and 47 20% Tempest Scrolls.
Will this be enough to fully scroll without hammers? It's fine if I need more- I have 7 days to get some.

Well statistically, one out of every five of your 20% scrolls will work.
That mean's that you will have to slate four slots per succession.
Hypothetically, one out of every ten slates will work. That means 40 slates per scroll succession.
Which means you only have enough clean slates for three slots to work. Hypothetically.
Of course, due to Maplestory being a game based on chance, you can go anywhere from +8 to +0.

You need to use 40 CS per slot if your scrolls have a 20% success rate.
Going back what what I said about scroll as you go, lets say, your weapon has 8 slots. You go and 2/8 are used. You use every single one of your slates, and after the event (unlikely, but possible), you only recover 2 slots back. Now there's still 4 slots you probably would have a hard time getting back instead of 1 slot. It's just a safety precaution.
You roughly need 5 20% att scrolled per slot, so 10*5 = 50 for an unhammered empress weapon.
Since 4 20% are failing, you need to recover 4*10 = 40 slots
At a 10% rate, you need 10*40 = 400 clean slates

@rabbitman897: You can try, scrolling it, but when one scroll fails, use the clean slate to try recovering the slot.
So when the event is over, you'll have a work in progress of a weapon, but with slots still available to complete.

Depends on your luck, but don't use all your slots and then clean slate. If you fail a slot, clean scroll until you get it back.
Cause I'm assuming you got them with lots of mules, you might be able if you use the shield scrolls w/ the dark 40% and the lucky day scrolls
On average it's 233 10% clean slates and 33 20%s assuming you have max diligence.
Diligence only affects the 20% scroll.
EDIT: Oops, this is for 10 slots.
I used about 150 10% to finish my rod.. got lucky with some scrolls and horrible luck slating
Next event I'll get more I guess... i cbf to get any now

No, I have probably used 200~300 clean slate 10%. And my weapon has only managed to get to +7. (Empress).
