Matrix help please Stuck on one of my hw question. apples=$0.75 a pound peaches=$0.90 a pound pears=$0.60 a pound Muriel buys 18 pounds of fruit at a total cost of $13.80. Her peaches and pears together cost $1.80 more than her apples What I'm confused is how to set up the last row for the matrix. the peaches + pears =1.80 + apples So I set x=apples, y=peaches, and z=pears When I write the system of equations, is it: { .90y+.60z=1.8+0.75x or is it: {-0.75x+.90y+.60z=1.8 ?
Civil Engineer or Accountantmanager I've usually been narrow minded on my career options and mainly focused on the business side. It was my goal to attend Stern undergrad & grad school to major in finance, so I can run the financial operations of a big company/corporation. However, my mind has been wandering as many peers tell me that the engineer jobs are also worth it. New games, need some advice With the release of Diablo 3, I've been thinking about getting it. However, I ran a test to see whether or not my computer could handle Diablo, and the problem is that I don't have enough dedicated memory on my graphics card. Everything else is fine (OS, processor, etc.) I have Skyrim on my computer, but when I run it, I have to run it on low graphics, and even then I have the worst fps in the game. Everything is so boxy and not smooth. If I can't run Skyrim well, should I not get Diablo unless I get a better computer?
I need new headphones So my old Apple headphones broke, and I'm looking to get another headphone. I like inbud or like Apple's old headphones, not over head ones. I'm not that big into listening to music. Just casual stuff. A few questions I had to ask: Are the new Apple headphones good? Do they last for a while? I won't get Skullcandy headphones because they break in 2 weeks. Also, looking for suggestions on any good in-ear headphones that last for a bit, and don't look like they were made in China.

When they turn into obese little children, I will take them to London and show them that there is no magical Wonka factory with a giant chocolate waterfall. I will watch with pleasure as these obese children roll around in the snow crying because it was a lie the whole time. what about you folks?

Summer body time Help me out Hi guys, I'm 5'7 and I weigh 145 pounds. It's not overweight (I believe), but I don't show any abs! So my goal this summer is to get a beach body, and throughout the remainder of senior year, maintain that body. That means giving up some delicious lunches and snacks :( Anyways, I guess I'm not morbidly obese. I do have some fat on my body that I would like to burn off so that my abs (which show when I flex/tense up) will show permanently. This summer I will have a lot of free time because I will be interning and not going on vacation (internship doesn't go too late at night, so I'm lucky). I plan on doing 2~5 miles a day on the track next to my school, and I do plan on going to gym to light weights and swim. I h
Help with making screens So I tried for the first time BannedStory 4 It was pretty cool, but there were many annoying things 1. I couldn't save my screen to work on again. I tried saving once and when I looked it up in my Doc section, it was unopenable! 2. The skills don't make the characters move! I opened up a skill and used the animation, but trying to get the character to do the necessary motion was impossible! 3. There is no sound? 4. Do I need another program like Paint, Photoshop, and Windows Movie Maker to make comics and videos? 5. No text boxes :(

Desktop/MBA vs Mbp 15/Retina? So I'm currently a high school senior and will buy a new computer for college. My current laptop's keyboard is broken so I'm making do with a separate keyboard and monitor, so that means I won't be bringing this laptop to college. I was wondering what set up I should get. Alienware 17 vs Macbook Pro Retina 15inch Hello. So I was deciding between two laptops for college. As you can see, there are some major differences between these two. Not just in specs but in function! So I was looking for the best gaming laptop (with a budget of $1,800), and I couldn't help noticing that Alienware (despite being trashed on previously) has made it to the #1 position. Looking at it, I can see why, with the sweet rig. Before, I was dead set on a MBP (not retina specifically, but an Apple product). Why?
