Bera runs a little differently from Scania. Most 'big name' merching guilds who occupy fm1 tend to be synonymous with dc hackers and I swear change names every month.
and bera's fm 1 is ran by Peruvians

Actually you would be surprised how much an fm1-6 spot can help especially in Scania. If it wasnt for merching guilds I would not have sold much
@FluffyDa2nd: which is true but he doesn't.
@FluffyDa2nd won't make a difference if you have no idea on pricing. And since when does every fm guild have fm1 spots to give away (and not sporadically). You can get a decent spot without being in an fm guild so once again that one single argument does nothing to strengthen the idea of joining an fm guild.
@CheapEmp hardly enough of a reason to join a merching guild, having a certain spot doesn't make you a good merchant.
Merching guilds are useless. Tried several and several of them were supposed to be some of the "good" ones and yet none of them aided me in becoming a successful merchant. There is no secret to merching. It's just buying low and selling for a profit. There is no secret technique someone or some guild can give you that will magically turn you into a successful merchant.
@DegenerationX:
I dont see how that is a step but whatever.
hardest part is to know the prices of the items ;L (imo)

1. Have mesos to spend.
2. Buy everything that's priced low.
3. Resell items you've purchased.
4. For a lower price.
