My solution to town lag (laptops only) I've been lagging in town on Maple since the first Big Bang patch and I looked online everywhere for a solution for it but never found one that got rid of it. I know there is a few other people that get town lag so I thought I'd share my simple solution that got rid of mine. Basically, I turn on my laptop without the charger being plugged it and then plug it in once I have logged into my laptop. If the battery in the corner of my desktop says "charger plugged in and not charging" once my charger is plugged in, then my town lag would still be there so I restart my laptop and do the same thing until it says "charger plugged in and charging." Then magically, my town lag has disappeared
Jack-o-Lantern familiar has no friendship time My Jack-o-Lantern familiar has never displayed any friendship time whereas all my other familiars have. My buddies have friendship times on their Jack-o-Lantern familiars so I was just wondering why mine doesn't? And yes, I have used it, it just never shows me how long I have left.
Pies/Cakes United drop rate buff How do you stop it from buffing you automatically? It cancels out drop rate familiar buffs. Right clicking it does nothing. It says it only lasts 20 minutes but seems to be there permanently even after logging out and back in.
Accused of fraudulent activity when trying to purchase Nx WOOHOO after all these years I have finally been unblocked. All it took was a simple e-mail to them instead of a ticket. :) Whenever I try and purchase NX using PayPal or debit/credit card I get the following error message: "ERROR Due to suspicious activity, you have been restricted from charging NX via this payment method. Are familiar drop rates multiplicative or additive? I've always been under the assumption that familiar drop rates are additive but I often see people refer to them as 1.6x (spider/mutant pig) or 2x (wolf). Does this mean they are in fact multiplicative when combined with % drop rate from equips or skills?
Just got temp banned for a month Did anyone else just get banned on maple for a month for the hack reason without doing anything? I haven't bought anything recently. Edit: My mule account is banned too so we can rule out the bans being because of obtaining hacked mesos from shops or buying anything illegit. Seems to be just random banning.

D/c hack from accepting someone to Bl Just a warning about a possible d/c hack involving accepting someone's buddy list request. I very stupidly accepted a name called something like A43853FSEFE3 to my buddy list. Now I can't log into my bishop without the game closing. So be warned and don't be stupid like me and accept a blatantly obvious hackers IGN! That is all.
Town lag once again I'm one of the small minority of people that lag in towns. After the first Big Bang patch my character would suddenly lag in every town apart from Aqua Road. As others have said before, I think this is something to do with the npc Cassandra as she isn't in the main town of Aqua Road where I don't lag, but she's in every other town where I do lag. Last week my town lag suddenly stopped after the patch and I haven't lagged at all for the past few days in any town apart from today where it seems it has come back once again.. I lag to the point that maple crashes and closes, and it will take minutes for my character to move when I press the arrow keys. Once I'm in any other map that isn't a town, I can play play maple fine.
Commerci Inventory Full? A iridescent scale dropped for me in Commerci but the npc won't let me take it as my inventory is apparently full. I have 5 slots open in my etc/use so I'm guessing it's my vessel inventory being referred to? My vessel inventory is full of those arrow skills for some reason and I can't seem to make space. Any ideas as I can't do anymore commerci runs until I claim the iridescent scale?
6th Anniversary jigsaw puzzle I threw away my puzzle king guide before getting every piece of the jigsaw. Does this mean I need to forfeit the quest and start again? I say this because I looked in my quest tab and it says I have 0/1 of the guide, so I'm guessing I need this to be able to hand in my jigsaw when I complete it. Any confirmation please? (Before I forfeit it and lose my pieces) Edit: I'm asking if anyone could finish the quest without having the guide in their inventory.
