The vast, vast majority of players are now from countries with legalized gay marriage. Do you think Nexon will finally allow gay marriage in maplestory? As the game stands now, it appears as if Nexon rejects the Supreme Court's ruling in favor of same-sex marriage. New players will notice that the game only allows straight marriage, while their country celebrates marriage equality. It sends a negative political message, and it will leave a bad taste in people's mouths. This needs to be changed.
