@Codykins: I know W7 is amazing. I was only warning him about the problems people tend to have with it. It's crippled a lot of my BL and alliance, so I believe waiting the few days to BB to see how its problems are remedied before making the change.

I agree with Kyotomo, keep WinXP, kill Vista for Win7. at least that way you'd have an OS working with MS for sure.

This. Maple sucks in general. If you've been on the forums, you will hear people complaining about Maple on their Macs, Vista, XP, or Win7. Seriously, that's a majority of the big brand operating systems.

Should you upgrade to Windows 7? It costs $200. If you're just using your computer for gaming, you should just buy a graphics card for about $100. You're most likely going to get a new computer soon (or a few years) which will have windows 7.

depends how good your computer is i think. Windows Vista is kinda worse memory wise. i mean that vista takes up so much memory on your computer causing more lag and you need a better computer, but idk how it is for W7

Well the truth is I am only getting it to play MS. I'm going to get an illegitimate copy, where I can't really update it, but I really don't care because im only using it for maple, vista is my main OS, I have no problems with vista except maple doesn't work nice on it.

instead of pulling the XP, pull the Vista... nothing against Vista, its just that Vista and XP are very different, but Vista and 7 are VERY similar.

if you're doing things other than playing maple on win7, then I definately suggest Windows7
But if you're going to get a windows7 to play maple on, then d/cs and fresh glitches await you, my friend.

And you sure are lucky Mr. Demon I can count the people I know with no W7 problems on one finger now.

i need to keep vista. It was the OS my comp was installed on and I have the img drive of the O.S. just in case any bull crap happens.

Its all different for everyone. I myself love win7 and works PERFECTLY for me. I don't crash i don't lag. So its all up to hardware.

I don't see how so many people have problems with W7. I run MS perfectly fine on it.
