Frame drop spikes

Hey guys, recently reinstalled Maple to chill with a few friends and for some reason every 5-7 seconds in game I get hit with a huge loss of frames. Specs of my computer aren't the problem, neither is my internet connection. Is there some sort of setting that I should be using that's making this happen? Compatibility seems to be fine. I have the game spread across all my cores, memory usage is under 20%. What could I be missing?

@TaintedZero: It seems that 'yukung.exe' is not the problem. Congratulations! You avoided something tragic indeed.

Thanks for that. At least I know it's nothing wrong on my end. Hopefully it's addressed soon.
This is because your copy of Maplestory running a program called 'yukung.exe'. You should reinstall Maplestory immediately or else bad things shall happen.
Did a thorough check of my computer and even tried a command prompt kill while running MS. No executable file of that name exists.
how the do you set the affinity for the program? also what version of windows are you running?
Win7 x64 Ultimate.

@TaintedZero: It's definitely not you.
Since the tempest patch (not sure if you played before then), there's been a latency problem plaguing many players. While some may experience no problems, there are other who can't do anything in town or even while grinding.

Official Sticky that Hime started to "gather information". It's been nearly a month or so and there's been no other address of this issue.

Though I have to ask, where are you experiencing these problems?

Your answer is in the first post. It's a flaw in the game and especially terrible this patch.

Nope, I do mean frames as in checked with Fraps. I use a i7 3770k that won't even go above 55C when playing MS.

@HolyDragon: I set the affinity for the program to all cores and verified through the command prompt while the program was running.

anyone else think he meant fame o.o'

OT: what core do you have?

for example, I have an i3 hp laptop, so mine overheats often and quickly, so I need a cooling fan otherwise I can barely use it

How do you know if the game spreads across your cores?

Anyways, I get that frame lag when I have to load a huge amount of things real fast. It's a flaw of the design, probably. Maplestory isn't really graphics intensive so its all in the processor. I'm not even sure if its advanced enough to spread throughout the processors. It definitely does not do better on my quad core than my duo core laptop.
