my cycle (i hate my life)

1. become depressed about being fat (more accurate: out of shape)
2. procrastinate on homework because you're depressed about being fat
3. realize that work has piled up during your depression; study for half a week without sleep
4. so tired that you want to sleep, but have papers due tomorrow
5. binge on junk food to cope with stress and get your papers done
6. repeat from step 1.

why can't i be the type of people who DON'T eat when they're stressed? ! ? ! ? ! WHY

depression is stupid. so are the (asian) lunch buddies who always talk about how their cheeks got pudgy ("omg! freshman 15 omg my cheeks&quot and make you feel like shiiii
take mushrooms.

screw the western diet
I heard that less sleep is linked to obesity.
no, it's mainly because night owls like to eat midnight snacks. usually i don't do that.
same with coffee - drinking coffee won't make you fat, but it gives you sugar cravings

that is not true at all. just because you know the situation doesn't mean it's easy to fix. why do you think people are still obese after there's all these diet plans and low-fat foods and healthy foods? it's because appetite control isn't that easy..it goes against survival instinct

OT: I have never felt your pain because I have a fast metabolism. I have no advice.
eh, i used to be the type that people envy cause i got to eat whatever i want without getting fat. but now it's slowing down cause of stress and eating sugar and carbs. (vegetarianism makes you get full on carbs)

anyways i don't know why i'm still on basil. goodnight

@somepeople
sleeping is not an option LOL. i don't have time to sleep, i have studying to do, don't you get it?

@LuckyGambler I know it's 26.2 miles I want to do it, and how can you not go past 10 miles o-o? I can do a half marathon right now if I wanted to, but I want the full package xD (When I get to mile 12 though, I'm suicide shuffling....)

Oh, and in my town, a 14 year old girl did it in 4:28:52, which is basically a 10 minute mile pace. She's my inspiration

ever since i got so stressed, eating habits have gone out of whack. back then when i was fine, i'd limit myself to one square of dark chocolate a day, or two days. now, it's gotten to where it's okay to eat 4 squares one day. and when i'm stressed, it's alright to devour the whole bar.
After reading all that the only thing that lingered on my mind was:
200 pounds at 11 years old? Holy Sh...rooms on moss covered grass!
Yeah man, overweight xD I was 5'8 back then though

@MissMaylie My mom hates it when I do sports, she doesn't want me really doing them. I kept on rebelling, I didn't care, I wanted to run Cross Country whether she liked it or not. So right now, she's tolerant of Cross Country, and my new challenge is to get her to be okay with me running a marathon xD
Well, I can tell you this. I was overweight, depressed, and anti-social once. One day, I decided I wanted to lose weight because I had a goal to run with my best friend in Cross Country, since she was a really good friend, but how could a 200 pound eleven year old do that? So I then did it, I lost thirty pounds and I currently run with my friend during Cross Country everyday, I've become very social, and known in my grade and tenth(I'm in ninth) as an extremely happy person. And you know what I did everyday? Eat healthily(Under 1000 calories a day, since I barely need anymore when I was fat.), walk three miles fast, within an hour uphill, and bam, thirty pounds in three months, increased metabolism, and overall better health.

Now I eat more than when I was overweight, and I'm still fit after three years xD
wow thats some sheer dedication
i think exercise shouldve been a part of my life. unfortunately sports were of trifling importance in my household

I'll admit, it takes a LOT of discipline to do exercise by yourself, but I was so committed to my goal, that I didn't care.

Moral of the story? Just do it.

Let's just say something.

-Thirty minutes of activity per day=Make all the excuses you want to, then do it.
-Eat healthily=Eat healthier alternatives to what you eat/drink now, such as reg. milk to skim, milk chocolate to dark chocolate, soda to V8 juice, ice cream to yogurt.
-Listen to @TheLastSamurai
You're doing it wrong, completely wrong.
Skipping on meals only makes you fatter because you'll more likely overeat.
Eat healthy, 3 meals a day.
That means no fatty stuff.
Did I mention exercise? I heard it works.
i shoiuld start eating meals...
i exercise 3 times a day. can you believe our school has a PE requirement that is equivalent to 3 semesters? ! ? !
i much prefer exercising in my own time. and believe me i enjoy a good self workout. but no time

You're procrastinating anyway, so why wouldn't you exercise?
Besides, hun, I bet you're not fat anyway... lol jk, on the treadmill you go, fatty.

If you are working non-stop, you do not have time to eat. Therefore, you should slim down and wither away. If you claim you are getting fatter. You are lying

i cannot take a day off, according to step 3 - so much work to do that i have to study nonstop for at least 3 days. no seriously, i LITERALLY work nonstop (given my slow pace which needs improvement)
