Ok so when I use my Dot i doesn't show the damage happening on the health bar of monsters also can a Dot kill a monster

Yepp. And when the monster's HP is already 1, the damage should still appears since doesn't kill it. And this is why you can see some [i]tanky[/i] snails tanking a few hundred k of damage without dying.

Dot does not kill a monster. It makes them suffer.
Try reg attacking the mob after they're poisoned .
