Your thoughts on guys shaving Hey Chat Islanders, two of my guildmates and I were discussing this and I thought it'd be interesting to see how more people look at this topic. My two guildmates (both girls) said that they preferred guys with shaved legs/armpits/butts (lol) and I thought that the majority of guys wouldn't be comfortable or wouldn't prefer to shave their body clean of hair (except on their face/head) and I kinda doubted that the majority of girls would want a guy to be shaving that many areas to that amount. I'm in the honors college at my university, and I'm applying for a group leader position for fall 2012 ($500 for the semester, which basically means books for the semester). I already have my application materials in, I just need to be interviewed, and honestly, I'm not worried about being rejected... A good treat for a classroom I only have the rest of this and next week with four classes I tutor at a high school and was thinking of doing something nice for them on the last day. It's with trig integrals, and the question is: Evaluate the integral of: e^(3x) * sec^6(e^(3x)) * tan^8(e^(3x)) dx For those of you willing to help, I suggest doing this on paper and not on the computer :p But to prove that I'm not just mooching, here's where I'm at: integral of: e^(3x) * (u^8 + 2u^10 + u^12) du Now, this doesn't really make sense since I have x and u both in the integral, so I'm not sure what I did wrong. I let u = tan(e^(3x)), so du = sec^2(e^(3x)) dx I just thought of this: To change the e^(3x) in the integral to something with u, should I replace is with arctan u ? Thanks :I

Share something interesting that happened today Today I was driving behind this guy, we were approaching an intersection and he was signaling with his hands outside his window (instead of just using a turn signal). So I thought his turn signals weren't working, but then he used them anyway. Then as I pulled up in the lane next to him, he started giving the finger. Not at me, or at anyone else, just in a general direction toward nothing... So I drove off into the sunset. So yeah. What about you guys?

Spanish help, por favor Wussup peeps, primarily the spanish-speaking peeps. I'm doing some online homework, and I've got one attempt left before I can never answer the question(s) again for as long as I live! So, I'm gonna post the questions here and give my guess, please let me know if something needs changing. I took a semester off from spanish so I'm rusty, plus this online program can be pretty specific when looking for answers. The bolded words are my fill-in answers that I'm thinking are right, and the italicized one is the infinitive that I think is used, but I don't know what the conjugation might be. My mom's mad at me because I'm sick o_o So a few weeks ago, I was sick for two weeks or so with a cough. I got it again the other day and she's making me take like 3 different medications and cough drops and vitamins. And just a few minutes ago, she storms into my room with water for me to drink and yells at me, saying how I'm going to the doctor the day before my calc AP. Like it's my fault half my school is sick and there's no way to avoid it... So then she yelled a bit, and slammed my door shut then yelled something at my dad. It's almost midnight now. I have an interview soon, what to do? I said "what to do" to be more general, but I'm asking what should I expect and prepare, etc. The job is a tutoring position at a 9th grade academy for a high school around where I live, and I have a few things "prepared" I guess: -I have some questions and concerns already noted so that I can actually have a discussion -I already know the pay ($15/hr) so I don't need to worry about sounding greedy and asking what it is -I'm going to ask if it's possible for me to get a copy of their textbooks for math and science, so I can review their subjects before trying to re-teach them -My college schedule next semester is pretty weird (very busy monday/wednesday, almost empty tuesday/thursday
