Stopping Vista Security popups So I don't know why this started happening today, but it's asking me to register for their antivirus again and everything. I'll look into it another time, but for now, how can I stop the pop ups? I'll probably renew it later or something but I don't want to be reminded every 5 minutes (literally). Sorry I'm not a tech kinda person, so if I used any of the wrong terms or missed some needed information, lemme know. Thanks
Desktop icons appearing when browsing the internet Hey tech peeps, I'm wondering about this problem I have. It's not necessarily a terrible problem, it's just annoying and I'd like to fix it if possible. Whenever I'm browsing the internet (typically basil and facebook), the icons on my desktop randomly appear. So if my mouse is on a certain point on my screen, the icon beneath it and the browser would appear on top. Then I have to scroll up/down until it goes away, and then that's it... Is there something I could do to get rid of this? If it wasn't clear, let me know, thanks thanks thanks~ PS - If you wouldn't mind quoting me when you answer, that'd be great since lately I forget about the threads that I make o_o
