Help explaining thief range difference

Im sorry if this is a stupid question but im not clear on this at all. I have a night lord and a Shad both around the same level, just 1 level apart. Besides the weapon both characters have pretty much the same equips. Completely without buff my range on my night lord is up a 12k range while my shad is only a 9k range. My dagger though has a way higher attack stat than the claw. What factors into the range increase between these two classes? remember my equips minus weapon are pretty much the same.

Claw is a 2x multiplier. Also try comparing their buffed ranges, maybe shad has a buff that increases attack range whereas NL's don't? Also you have to consider that your NL probably has the advantage with the added throwing stars perhaps?
Claw has a much higher multiplier than a Dagger. Dagger is 1.2x, I have no idea about the claw $$:
This basically. Claws have the lowest base attack out of every weapon and conversely the highest multiplier. Night Lords benefit much more from attack than the other thieves because of this.

do u have a good shield? because a dagger's count as 1 weapon and a claw is count as 2 weapons because it's 2 handed? lol idk.. just guessing...
