Does MapleStory feel 2d to you?
I just realized that MapleStory was a 2D sidescroller. Of course I knew that beforehand (Duh lol) but I never really thought about it It's so weird to think about doe lolsies. All this time that I've played Maple it has always seemed "3D" like, I'm transcending reality into fantasy. 'Cause whenever I usually think about 2D sidecrollers, I think about the Mario Bro's and other old ass video games. Maple never really pops up because it just seems more...more... real? idk << Getting my feelings out hurr is hard af >< I just don't how to phrase myself. How 'bout y'all? Does MapleStory feel 2D to you?

I get what you're trying to say, but asking about the 2D aspect of things makes it sound funny lol. What you're saying is that it feels like it pulls you in more than your average 2D game right? I can see where that reasoning would come in. I'd say that's more about the immersion that comes with mmo's (especially if you really enjoy the mmos), rather than the 2D/3D differences.

I'm aware of that fact. I just nevertheless [i]feel[/i] that it is 3D
This isn't an opinion question but a technical one. MapleStory has a single plane with only (x,y) coordinates. There's no way that it's not 2D. Play ANY 3D game (any FPS, modern RPG, action adventure games etc) and the notion that Maple could be 3D would immediately seem outrageous.
I really hate RPGs in general but i like MapleStory since it's 2D and i rarely have to use to mouse. Although i use mouse in other games i play like SC and CS but i prefer not to for RPGs for w/e reason.
