Building a Computer with a 2500 budget

I have $2500 to build a desktop for multi-media purposes. What are the best parts I can get with my budget? (It's for audio and video production)
Also, it has to be between $2475-2525. Thanks.

Do you need a mouse, keyboard, monitor(s)? The ideas I have for the monitor(s) can run in excess of $1K.
At the same time, I am unsure how you want your budget is to be distributed and if it can include the cost of those accessories and peripherals.

Which edition of Photoshop are you using? CS6 benefits from OpenGL hardware acceleration provided by GPUs normally used for gaming desktops.

If you are dealing with HD video rendering, then a RAID 0 hard drive array may be in the works. At the same time, do you need a Blu-Ray drive or can you stick with a DVD drive?

What country/state do you live in? Canada
Would you like to save money or do you want to spend as much of your budget as possible? I would like to it to be in the $2475-2525 price range.
Would you like it pre-built or will you assemble it yourself? I'd like it in parts as I'll be assembling it.
Can you order online? If you cannot order online, what stores are around you? I can order online.

Do you already have a monitor, keyboard, and/or mouse? No.
How much hard drive space do you want? What you feel is sufficient for media purposes(videos etc..). Keep in mind that videos are usually in the mid hunder megabytes.
What games do you play or want to play? This will not be for games at all. This is solely for the purpose of multimedia; video and audio purposes.
Are there any other games you play or want to play? Nope.
What other programs do you use? Be detailed. Sony Vegas. Photoshop.

Don't really have any special requests

GreatRomantic

Must have at least the following:
1. Intel Core i7-core Ivy Bridge Processor (get the i7-3960X)
2. NVIDIA Graphics (get two graphic cards ---> 2 x NVIDIA Geforce GTX 680M SLI)
3. Get about a TB (Terabyte) of SSD (Solid State Drive) ---> you can get 2 x 480GB of SSD (or 4 x 480 if you want)
4. Get the best Optical Device player you can get
5. Get the best custom built fans and cooling system you can

There are many more things you may need, but these are the basics.
