STR + DEX for mages

hello my fellow mages,

i have a curious question for you guys since i havent quite found a answer for this online after searching thru various forums...well neway i do know that the STR and DEX is suppose to be at 4 each when u create a mage, but back in the day when i created my mage, i didnt quite read the little guide and went on my own gut thinking higher the number the better it has to be...neway so now i have ended up with 8 STR and 8 DEX, so i wanted to ask you guys what exactly is the point of keeping STR/DEX at 4? how does it negatively affect me by having 8 STR/DEX? my luk was also capped a little late so instead of capping it at 80 i capped it at 100...which makes my int to be 589...i have recently gotten a 3 AP reset cash item and just wanted to use it wisely especially since the game is getting a make over soon...

Thanks
FI

Well, you can afford to drop your luk, but that depends on what equipments you have and what you want your endgame gear to be. If you need 100 luk to wear your endgame gear with the equips you have or expect to have, by all means keep it at 100. If you get stuff like HTP and Zhelm, and find you have more luk then you need, let it drop.

umm thanks for the replies guys,

LittleTLK, based on what u said, does STR play a higher role or does dex? meaning if i have 3 AP resets should i just use them all to take it out from one over the other?

dyingfetus, i c, ya 8 less int doesnt mean that much, and im a 13x AM so i think resetting AP is worth it

and basically i shuldnt touch my luk?

Well, as a NORMAL mage, str and dex do nothing for you.

It's AP that could better be used on INT, and somewhat on luk.

If you have 3 AP resets already and nothing better to use them on, take it out of dex or str, and put it on INT.
