What kind of weapon to use?
I need help deciding between what kind of weapon (blunt, sword, 2h, 1h, etc.). Can anyone point me to a guide that includes some information to help people decide?

BWs, axes, spears and polearms all do consistent damage now.
yea it depends if 1hd with shield can give u the same range as a 2hd if good enough shield and it attacks faster but if u dont think u can get a good shield guss 2hnd be fine but remember it will attack slower

Look at my avatar. Slowly go to the right where you will see a blue box that says "online". Underneath that you'll see a plus (+). Click on that plus and select quote.

1h w/ shield is really the best for paladins. paladins have shield mastery and guardian which require shields. unless you are really really funded, such that your defense is cap w/o shield mastery, then maybe you can go 2h because guardian prevents divine shield from activating.

1h w/ shield reminds me too much of a hero and I don't really want that, ya know? And aren't BWs stronger or something?

blunt- for the looks, iirc empress bw are fast so you can use them. mainly for the looks (idk are there any other reasons?)
sword- generally faster speed, empress sword is also fast.
go 2h only if your 2h weapon is truly godlike and you don't care for paladin's defense. they are generally slower (with a few exceptions), but they look cool too. cooler than 1h weapons i must say...
