Replace Battery? Just a quick question: should you be replacing your laptop battery (if it needs to be serviced/replaced)? What happens if you just keep the same battery for XXX amount of time without getting a new one? Does the machine just die eventually (even if it's connected to the charger)? Or what happens? *This is for a Macbook Pro (2012 Retina) with about 800 battery cycles Edit: Oh, and also regarding the matter, is it better to leave the charger plugged in even when my battery is 100% fully charge (I do this like 95% of the time), or plug the charger out once my laptop is charged? Are there side-effects of leaving the charger on all the time? Or are these just myths/misconceptions?

Intel/NVIDIA vs. Amd If you had a budget, which would give you the best performance? Let's say $2000-2500 (including all peripherals + IPS monitor) *keep in mind that you may want to upgrade/add in the future to the system So, an Intel system, or an AMD system for: 1. Overall performance 2. Extreme Gaming (Crysis 3, BF4, etc etc) 3. Video Editing/Rendering 4. Basic usage (browsing, etc etc) with some light gameplay/games that aren't as graphic intensive as Crysis 3 & BF4

Computers - Will Gpu technology plateau? Will GPU technology eventually/ultimately plateau? What I mean is, will there come a time when we invent a future-proof GPU, or a GPU that can process any graphics processes? The Triple A title games (such as GTA5, Crysis 3, Witcher 3, etc) are very graphical and have "realistic" visuals. Will there come a time when we cannot progress along graphic technology, thus GPU technology will plateau because we cannot go beyond certain graphics? *Same goes for other technologies (CPU, etc).
