Affordable clothing stores in New York?
Hi, I will be traveling to New York in a few weeks time and have decided to buy some clothes. Does anyone know any stores which sell tshirts, pants, jeans etc. for a reasonable price? By reasonable I mean <$20 for tshirts and <$60 for jeans. Also does anyone know how much vans authentic are in America? Thanks

@shadow4son: lol oh.
F21 quality meh.......... everything is going to rip and stuff haha. I don't prefer f21... H&M has decent stuff.. like Black Friday I got a peacoat for $50 and it's so nice.. I would recommend H&M.. but the lines sometimes are outrageous. C21 is cheaper.. like they have name brands like Ray Bans etc.. for cheaper. But sometimes you need to watch out on what you buy and compare. I recommend C21.
Ohh yeah, I've always heard people say the clothes at F21 have poor quality, however I've never noticed any of my clothes ripping or breaking before..then again I remember I bought sweaters, jackets and coats from F21; I've never bought any tops there, mainly because I think the top sizes are too big for me, even the small size. Yes H&M has nice stuff too. C21 is great for guys, they have an entire large floor for male clothing. Other stores, I've noticed a small section for them.
This^ all the nice stores around in NYC. I think forever 21 and H&M has the cheapest clothing. Century 21 is kinda expensive from what I know. They have websites you can check out their clothes or online purchases for forever 21, macys, gap, american apparel, and zara. I believe H&M only has online purchases if you live in canada, but you can still check out their clothings.
AE is good for shirts IMO, I don't really like Aeropostale quality since mine are just awful.., and Urban Outfitters is a bit pricy... They have a topman which I admire at SoHo and a Hollister.. Jeans here are decent, if there's a sale. I get mine from Hollister around like $18-$21. I just got a $18 navy skinnies. haha
If you're looking for quality, inspect it carefully.
There are some smaller unknown stores, which you should take the time to go to too, like you might find vans cheaper in there! Vans are usually $45, and Urban has clearances for like $30 sometimes.. Like right now online lol.
@DragonBandit: Well cuz you said to kill myself I'm going to go pull an mandaTod.(cant say her name lol.) (chug bleach)

shop anywhere but Manhattan. if you're going to Queens go to QC Mall for sure.
Forever 21, H&M, Uniqlo (HeatTech stuff good for the cold), Urban Outfitters (mehh), you should definitely check out SoHo which is near Chinatown (has nice little unknown stores with good clothes), American Apparel, Zara, Century 21, and Macys
H&M, American Eagle, Aeropostale.
Those stores are pretty common.
Look around Soho.
Ahh thank you. What about any stores or reasonable brands around the broadway area, because I will be staying there while I'm at New York.
Woahohoho. Broadway, if I recall, is the one of the longest streets in NYC. There are plenty of shops on Broadway.
Visit Soho (with stores such as Uniqlo - especially if you're on a budget)
The Herald Square Area is really nice as well (Macy's).
Take a shopping trip in New Jersey. The Jersey Garden Mall is an outlet filled with "American" stores with great finds.
Century 21 down at the Financial District is filled with discounted brands. While you're at it, you can take the PATH train and hit up the Newport Mall.
Vans retail for about $45 here, but I suppose you can find it for a cheaper price at one of the Miz Moo's locations in Soho.
40$ for vans in america.
I believe you mean $40.
and the @personabove me is probably right.
