Protein shake with somewhat expired milk?

So today in the weight room in school, I did somewhat of a good arm workout which was around 9:20 - 10:45.
So i get home around 3:15 and i make myself a protein shake with some milk. After i closed my blender bottle I look at the expiration date on the milk jug which expires 11/2/12, which is today. It'd be a waste if i just poured it down the drain, so i chugged the mofo down.

Will i still be okay?

Ah okay, nice.

Yeah as long as the milk doesn't smell sour or have floating green chunks of coagulated bacteria in it then it's perfectly fine to drink.

Dude, it's not even passed the expired date you'll be fine, and if you're ever that worried about it just mix the protein with water instead.

Also, 1hr25mins for an arm workout is overkill, that's way too long if you were only working out your arms.
generally milk is still good within two days of the expiration date, unless it smells sour or tastes bad.
You could use water instead of milk.
You should really drink the protein shake within an hour after you workout
Yeah I know, but it's becoming a hassle. I know it's just a bottle and all, but I usually wake up like 20 minutes before my bus arrives and I usually take up like 10 minutes to take a shower. Another 5 to get dressed, and organize things. So I really don't have time to actually put the protein in the bottle and take it with me.

It's fine. If the milk smells normal and a sip of it tastes normal, drinking it on the day of expiration is always fine.
