Mechanic Laser vs. Siege

I was wondering at what point does laser become more effective at killing than siege? By this, I mean, how many monsters do you need to be hitting with laser to make it faster killing than Siege? i.e. how many zak arms, how many lhc mobs. Lets assume: max laser and siege mode, tank mode engaged for siege, low range(not hitting dmg cap, not by a long shot), high hp monsters(lhc, sh, zak arms). Mathcraft or personal experience/testing welcomed.
here are some number calculated by joetang of southperry:

siege (singer target): 7218%/second

mob (2 targets) : 7799%/second (if mob for 1 target, it wud be 7799/2=3899.5)

therefore, if there is 2 targets, laser would already be more effective.
I see. Ill try this later on, when I get home. Thanks for the info.

Any more input also appreciated.

edit: I just tried this at bearwolves. Mobs of 3 BW, lvl 25 laser, 3 satellites attacking the whole time on both, nubby familiar. Laser: 60 sec, Siege: 47 sec.

Thank you for your input. Guesses are good, but does anyone have some sort of tests they have run, or mathcraft to back it up?

My last test was with lvl 1 laser on lhc mobs. I was still killing mobs of 4 faster with siege. Couldnt get a mob any larger, as it was reindeer map.
