how come every person near level 200 is like a celebrity?
every time a person is like a few levels off of lvl 200 its like they are a celebrity or something because before then you never hear of them or anything , but when they get to lvl 197 or 198 ppl are smega'ing that they leveled - im surprised the celebrity effect hasnt worn off by now - i mean how many lvl 200 are there by now? like 50?

The rankings got really glitched up when the whole "weekly," thing was released.

id say more than a bit overrated and it is probably only gonna keep getting easier (well eventually anyways - right now 120+ are so slow that training is slower than b4)

There's well over 1000 level 200's.

They are only important in their own minds (if that), and a few people that decide to SMEGA. Most of us realize it's just a game, so I don't honestly think that the vast majority of people are that impressed by someone participating in this leisure activity for that long.
I think there's just a few vocal people who think it's really cool- that's why it seems like a lot of people actually care. But most people could care less.
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with someone who spends 1 hour a week, or 100 playing, it's their free time, enjoy! I just think a lot of people feel the same way I do- it's a game, congrats, move on, you're just another dude that likes to play this game occasionally.

Now I think it's the thief class or warriors(Hero/Drk.(I don't think there are to many Pali's that are 200,I've only seen 1.))
