That's not a "fake GM".. it's a message from the auto-ban system.
A LOT of people are getting that recently... something triggers the auto-ban system and it pops that up and then disconnects you. It's not a "ban" though because you can log right back in.
Go to the Maple site and file a Support Ticket and ask them to FIX it. They need to know it's happening to a lot of people so they'll fix whatever's wrong with their system.
