I'm retaking a quiz, but I Need a good reason to do it. Well actually not re-taking, but I haven't even taken it once because I was absent that day. The thing is, it's already been 4 weeks and I still haven't retaken it yet. The teacher said you should try to take quizes no later than 2 weeks or more, so I'm not sure what I should say. It slipped my mind because I had a lot of other things going on, and I only just realized after checking my grades that I have a zero on a quiz. I'm not really sure what I should say..should I apologize and ask to retake it, or say I forgot about it?
Whats a good present for a dads birthday? My dad's b-day is tomorrow and I still can't think of anything he would want. He already has all the tech goods he wants, so no electronics. He doesn't play sports so no golf accessories or anything like that. I made him a card for father's day so I don't want to do the same thing again. Anything from 20-80$ price range would be ideal. Any ideas?

In college dorm life, would it be okay to play online games I'm going to college next year, and I plan to live in the dorms If I do go. I plan on joining clubs and working hard with my studies, but I also want to play online games, mostly Vindictus whenever I have free time. For those who lived in college dorms, do you think there is time to relax and just play games? Is it strange to play games in your first year or does it really depend on who your roommate is?
Liking someone who is already in a relationship. There's a girl that's in two of my classes this year that's new to my school that I met a few weeks ago, my school year started in July 20. I personally think she's cute, especially when she smiles, and I wanted to get to know her better. Near the beginning of school, in one of my classes we had to a presentation that involved picking a song and explaining how it relates to our lives. Best time/place to ask a friend out to Prom? So my Prom is in early May this year, so I have around 2 and a half months left till prom. When would be a good time and place to ask a girl out to Prom? I don't want to ask too early, but I don't want to wait too long or she might get taken. As for our relationship, we're mostly just acquaintances, as the only times I hang out with her outside of school is to study with her at a bookstore near Starbucks on the weekends. Oh and as an extra question, for anyone who knows, how is Prom like. This sounds kinda lame, but I can't drive yet, but she can, so would it be weird to just let her drive if she did say yes?
Anyone got an Air Force ROTC scholarship I have questions I'm interested in joining the air force ROTC program to pay for my college tuitition, and I need to apply for a scholarship and hopefully get accepted. I read the website and said the scholarship will offer you a specific major that you would have to do, and it's either engineering, foreign language, or medical. I want to do psychology in college, not any of the ones they prefer. If I get offered a scholarship, will I have to do those majors in order to receive the scholarship?
450 dollars to spend, what should I spend it on I received $450 from family and relatives for my birthday. I don't have any idea how I will spend it. I have lots of money saved up over time, but I'm always reluctant to spend it. The only thing I can think of now is tennis equipment and clothes. Any interesting and useful things besides a phone that I can get with $450? I'm a 17 year old guy, a senior in high school if that helps.
