Hey basilers, can you guys help me with this? This teacher assigned a vocab project, and you have to write out a definition in your own words in complete sentences with the subject and predicate and all of that. Most of the grading is based around grammar and conventions, and since English isn't my first language, can you guys help me improve? thanks
1. Appalled (Adjective) - The feeling of being dismayed or shocked.
2. Foreboding (Noun) - A bad feeling of something that will happen in the future.
3. Haggard (Adjective) - Being worn out or tired.
4. Opaque (Adjective) - Something that is not translucent or impenetrable by light.
5. Perforated (Adjective) - Something that has a hole or holes through.
6. Ponderous (Adjective) - Something that is heavy and/or massive.
7. Rogue (Noun) - A dishonest or mischievous being.
8. Snare (Noun) - A trap usually used for catching small animals.
9. Stealth (Noun) - Being undetectable and secretive.
10. Succumb (Verb) - To give in into something that is tempting.
