So im playing football next year
Yeah, I never played football before. I plan to play for my high school next year, and ill be honest, im gonna be a freshman next year. I want to be a wide receiver, and it made me curious what I need to work on to be ready for that position. I know high speed is one, But I tend to run out of stamina fast, and I dont think I run fast at all. Is there any kind of work out that will help me out with that? Also, if theres anything else I need to work on to play wide receiver, please, tell me!
NOTE: No, im not fat.
So what I need to do is, increase my stamina, increase my agility, and practice receiving the ball? Ill work on it, and ill note myself to run the right route when I play to not piss off the QB.
Btw buy gloves they help a bit.

Cardio is a must, catching the football is another have a friend that can throw a football help you out, upper body strength again is a must and leg muscle.
If you run out of stamina fast, then you're in for a world of trouble. Football is all about stamina and endurance, a perfect workout for your stamina and endurance would definitely be the "Insanity" work out, it makes you cut, lean, strong, and it builds up your stamina and endurance greatly.
Just do what coach says, brah. Few freshmen make an impact on their school's teams especially if they hadn't been playing little league or whatever.
Develop the essential skills like running, catching, coordination, game knowledge, and hitting the gym. Unfortunately there's no solid advice I can give you.
You're definitely going to have to develop a strong mindset, though, unless you're simply unafraid. Some of the most vicious hits I've seen have come from poor judgment on the QB's part, leading to the receiver getting lit up by a middle linebacker, and you need to prepare for that sort of stuff.
o man its gonna be tough as you think
you need good catches when you're a wide reciever
start going to the gym go on the treadmill and run for 30 mins, and might as well ask some fellow people there
to help you in football
Tickle the guy who has the ball in the armpits. If you do, he'll drop the ball.
